As a state-recognised health resort, Waldbronn charges a visitor's tax of € 2.00 per guest and overnight stay (incl. VAT / valid from 01.07.2025, see visitor's tax statutes).

Children up to the age of 14 and persons with a severe disability of 80% or more as well as business travellers and trainees working in Waldbronn are exempt from the tax.

Business travellers whose companies are located outside Waldbronn are not exempt from the visitor's tax. Visitor's tax is also payable by non-residents who are staying in the spa town for professional reasons to attend conferences or other events.

When you pay the visitor's tax to your host, you will automatically receive your personalised spa and guest card. This entitles you to numerous discounted or free services in Waldbronn and the region - and makes your stay even more enjoyable.
